Irish words for hill in Louth: Crock and Cronk

Cnoc, meaning hill, is one of the commonest Irish field names in Louth. There are two distinct pronunciations found in the county. The usual form is Crock found over most of the county (blue on map), while Cronk is found in the Omeath area (red on map).
